Google improves sign-in security of Google account

Google has improved the sign-in security for Google account.

We all know that combination of a simple authentication of the user id and password is not as secure as it was used to be. We often neglect the security and use passwords like “paassword”, “password1”, “welcome” or “hello”. And of course dearly pay for that.

Google has announced a new 2-step verification process for Google accounts which requires 2 authentication tokens, your user id/password and a code obtained using your phone.

Google promised that in a few days we should see a new link “Using 2-step verification” on our account settings page.
